ABOUT "BURNED" CDs & DVDs

Many customers express concern about CDs and DVDs produced one at a time. They fear that the quality of the program might be amateurish, or that the discs may not last, or that the disc may contain pirated content.

Accepted practice throughout the DVD industry at this time is to produce small runs of discs (under 1000) by burning, and larger runs by pressing. Both processes, done well, produce discs that can be expected to stand lengthy and repeated use.

ARE THESE PRODUCTS YOURS?

YES!  ALL of our publications (except those clearly described as reproductions of pamphlets from long ago that have entered public domain) are our own productions. The US Copyrights are registered in our name. I wrote them all, edited them all, and it's my ugly face in the videos.

ARE THEY TACKY "GARAGE PRODUCTIONS"?

See for yourself - you can see sample pages or video of every item.

Every item we sell is backed by a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee. if you don't like it for any reason, send it back for a refund. I've sold hundreds of these - exactly three people have requested refunds.

I don't promise Hollywood quality (and besides, Dude, Where's My Car? and Big Momma's House were Hollywood's idea of quality, so let's not use that as our guideline).

As I wrote in the listing for my Birthday Party Business DVD:

"If you're looking for studio-quality lighting and sound, you'd better look elsewhere … This is like taping an evening's conversation and advice from a friend in the business."

WILL THEY LAST?

The name-brand manufacturers of "best-quality" blank discs have subjected them to extensive tests, and have determined that the discs and their content will last well beyond my lifetime or yours.

To achieve the best quality and permanence of CD and DVD data, we use quality blank discs, and perform the copying process carefully. We use Maxell and Taiyo Yuden discs, widely recognized as superior throughout the industry.

------> NOW LET'S GET REAL <-----

Should you consider a "burned" disc to be an amateur product, and a "pressed" one a professional product?

The only reason anyone buys any of these little plastic "frisbees" is for their content. Either type can carry great programming and crystal-clear video, or worthless drivel and an unclear image. Look back at the recent history of audio: people actually paid money for tape cassettes which could contain either carefully-duplicated music from world-class artists, or something recorded on a $10 boom box by teenage Metallica wannabes, AND they often suddenly turned into useless spaghetti fouling your car's cassette player.

Industry sources tell us that we can expect burned discs to last well into the future.

I guarantee all of my products against defects, and UNLIKE ANYONE ELSE IN THE FIELD, I also guarantee satisfaction. Let me repeat my guarantee: if you don't like it for any reason, send it back for a refund. You don't even have to tell me the reason.
